What SG2 fits

SG2 attaches without penetration to standing seam profiles — mechanical double lock, nail-strip, and snap-lock. For straight-rib panels, metal shingles, asphalt shingles, and other roof types, SG2 brackets connect to the roof base with screws.

Why steel, not aluminum

SG2 is made from zinc-coated steel — higher load capacity than aluminum, and no galvanic corrosion when installed on steel roofs. Aluminum snow guards clamped to steel panels corrode at the contact point over time. Steel-on-steel eliminates that risk.
