It is with great enthusiasm that we are plunged into the new project. It is about passive house or house with high energy efficiency standards.
A passive house works on the principle of using the heat released by residents and electrical appliances for heating. In ordinary housing, energy simply goes through the cracks in the windows, under the doors, through the walls. The heat released as a result of heating is also lost, because of which the typical dwellers are forced to spend a huge amount of electricity or gas.
Passive technologies are aimed at eliminating heat losses of the building or reducing them to the minimum values. Energy is saved through the use energy-saving materials during construction. Regenerative ventilation, which provides fresh air, also prevents leaks, eliminating the need for residents to open windows in the cold season.
That is why before the installation of standing seam metal roof, we did additional layer of mineral wool insulation, strapping, plywood and waterproof membrane.
