New residential construction in Mississauga. The client installed a mechanical lock standing seam metal roof and chose to add an engineered snow retention system at the time of construction — the most cost-effective point to install snow guards.
System installed: ORIMA tubular steel snow guards on mechanical lock standing seam profile. Non-penetrating seam clamps attach directly to the standing seam rib — no drilling through the panel surface, roof warranty preserved.
Snow load in Mississauga: 1.4–2.0 kPa per NBC 2020. Layout calculated based on roof slope, panel length, and entry location below the main roof slope.
